Furnaces with manifolds or catalyc reformers (platformers) are often addressed as non piggable as there are no direct in- or outlet flanges available.
Turbinate specializes in developing and constructing special spool pieces for such manifolds. By constructing a custom made ‘pig introduction system’ Turbinate made it possible to clean and inspect this type of furnaces. Now furnaces with manifolds can be pigged without mayor adjustments for the refinery.
